VE Hospitality Group Communication & Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

VE Hospitality Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a family of restaurant brands across multiple locations. This Communication & Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information when you interact with any of our restaurants, websites, mobile applications, or online ordering platforms, including our ordering widget powered by Olo.

By submitting your information through our online ordering platform or opting into our communications, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

When you place an order or sign up for communications, we may collect (and not limited to): Full name, email address, phone number (mobile or landline), mailing address, order history and preferences, device and browser information, and location data (if permitted by your device settings).

Visitor Identification & Data Enrichment

We utilize first-party data enrichment and visitor identification technologies (“Visitor Intelligence”) on our websites. When you visit our website, certain technical and behavioral data may be collected automatically, including but not limited to: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, time on site, referral source, and engagement behavior.

Through legally compliant third-party data matching services, portions of this information may be matched against commercially available databases to identify business or consumer contact information associated with website visitors. This may include: name, email address, mailing address, company name, phone number, and business role or industry classification.

This process does not access private accounts, personal devices, or protected content. Data is derived from legally obtained third-party data sources and publicly available information.

We use this information to improve user experience, analyze website performance, conduct marketing and advertising, deliver relevant offers and communications, and optimize customer journeys.

3. Newsletter & Email Communications — Opt-In Consent

3.1 What You Are Consenting To

By checking the newsletter opt-in box on our ordering widget or any of our restaurant websites, you expressly consent to receive email communications from VE Hospitality Group and all restaurant brands under our Group, including but not limited to: promotional offers, discounts, and exclusive deals; new menu items and seasonal announcements; loyalty program updates and rewards information; event invitations and brand news; and operational updates (e.g., new locations, hours changes).

3.2 Shared Consent Across All Restaurant Brands

Your consent to receive communications applies to ALL restaurant brands operated by VE Hospitality Group. This means a single opt-in on any one of our restaurant websites or ordering widgets constitutes consent to receive communications from the entire Group of restaurants. A current list of our restaurant brands is available at www.vehospitality.com. We will update this list as new brands join our Group.

3.3 How to Opt Out

You may unsubscribe from our email communications at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we send, emailing us at marketing@vehospitality.com, or contacting us via the information in Section 8 of this Policy. Please note that opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional messages such as order confirmations and receipts.

4. SMS & Text Message Marketing

4.1 Opt-In to SMS Communications

By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box on our ordering widget or website, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from VE Hospitality Group on behalf of all restaurant brands in our Group. Messages may include: promotional offers and limited-time deals; order status updates and delivery notifications; loyalty rewards and points balance alerts; and new product launches and event reminders.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 10 messages per month. Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

4.2 How to Opt Out of SMS

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us, or contacting us at marketing@vehospitality.com. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation text. No further marketing messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. Opting out of SMS will not affect email communications or transactional order messages.

5.2 Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information based on: (a) your express consent (for marketing communications); (b) the performance of a contract (to process your orders); (c) our legitimate business interests; and (d) compliance with applicable law.

USE OF AGGREGATED DATA

HAVANA 1957 is interested in improving the Site and may develop and offer new features and services. We monitor aggregated data regarding use of the Site for marketing purposes and to study, improve and promote use of the Site. In connection with such purposes, HAVANA 1957 may share aggregated data with third parties collectively and in an anonymous way. Disclosure of aggregated data does not reveal personal information about individual Site users in any way that identifies who they are or how to contact them.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

There are two exceptions to the limits on use of personal information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy:

(1) HAVANA 1957 may monitor and, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is warranted, disclose information to protect the security, property, assets and/or rights of HAVANA 1957 from unauthorized use, or misuse, of the Site or anything found at the Site.

(2) HAVANA 1957 may, to the extent necessary, disclose information when required by law.

USE OF COOKIES

To enable features at the Site, HAVANA 1957 may assign one or more “cookies” to your Internet browser. Cookies, among other things, speed navigation though our Site, keep track of information so that you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit our Site, and may provide you with customized content. A cookie is an Internet mechanism composed of a small text file containing a unique identification number that permits a web server to send small pieces of information or text by means of your browser and place them on your computer’s hard drive for storage. This text lets the web server know if you have previously visited the web page. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the identity of any user.

We use cookies to collect and maintain aggregated data (such as number of visitors) to help us see which areas are most popular with our users and improve and update the content on our Site. While in the process of browsing our site, you also provide us with information that doesn’t reveal your personal identity—what type of destination you’re exploring, for example. We use this aggregated data only as explained in this Privacy Policy. We do not connect aggregated data to any name, address, or other identifying information.

You may occasionally receive cookies from companies or organizations unaffiliated with the HAVANA 1957, to the extent they place advertising on our Site or are linked to the Site. These third-party cookies may collect information about you when you “click” on their advertising or content or link. This practice is standard in the Internet industry. Because of the way in which the Internet operates, we cannot control collection or use of this information by these third parties, and these cookies and any information gathered by them are not subject to this Privacy Policy.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY & PARENTAL CONSENT

Please be aware that HAVANA 1957 has designed this Site to be used for information only purposes by all ages; however, as with any Site parental consent is encouraged.

You must be at least 18 years old to submit personal information on our Site. Should HAVANA 1957 inadvertently acquire personal information or any other data from users under the age of 18, HAVANA 1957 will not knowingly provide this data to any third party for any purpose whatsoever, and any subsequent disclosure by the HAVANA 1957 would be due to the fact the user under 18 used the Site and submitted personal information without solicitation by or permission from HAVANA 1957.

LINKS PROVIDED TO OTHER SITES

HAVANA 1957 may provide links to a number of other web sites that we believe might offer you useful information and services. However, those sites may not follow the same privacy policies of HAVANA 1957. Therefore, we are not responsible for the privacy policies or the actions of third parties, including without limitation, any web site owners whose sites may be reached through this Site, nor can we control the activities of those web sites. We urge you to contact the relevant parties controlling these sites or to access their on-line policies for the relevant information about their data collection practices before submitting any personal information or other sensitive data.

GOOGLE FONTS

Our website uses open-source Google Fonts, but it is important to note that the use of Google Fonts is not authenticated. This means no cookies from our website visitors are sent to the Google Fonts API. Additionally, requests to the Google Fonts API are made to resource-specific domains, such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com, which ensures that our requests for fonts are separate from and do not contain any credentials that you send to google.com when using other authenticated Google services.

WHAT INFORMATION IS SECURE? WHAT ISN’T?

E-mail communication to and from our site is not secure unless clearly noted otherwise. This is a risk inherent in the use of e-mail. Please be aware of this when requesting information or sending forms to us by e-mail.

When working with our internal database created by online opt-in activity on the HAVANA 1957 site, we employ industry standard encryption technologies to help protect consumer data.

Access and use of the Site relieves HAVANA 1957 from responsibility to the user from any claim or assertion that the user did not consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy or the terms of use.
